Linda grew up in Elkin, N.C., attended Pfeiffer College, and then married her childhood boyfriend before moving to Chapel Hill. In 1980, she established Anderson Electrolysis, which she ran until 1997. Linda was a member of the Electrolysis Association of North Carolina and the American Electrolysis Association. In the 1990’s, she also served a term as the Secretary of the N.C. Electrolyisis Board.

After 17 years of a successful electrolysis practice, Linda decided to return to school to get a nursing degree. She received her R.N. in 1996, and worked for eight years as a Clinical Trials Coordinator. She joined Chapel Hill Dermatology, P.A. as the Special Procedures Nurse in 2005. In that capacity, Linda performs laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, sclerotherapy, and electrolysis.

In her spare time, Linda enjoys traveling, knitting, golf, and Carolina basketball and football.
