Dr. Thompson grew up in North Dakota. She attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, majoring in psychology. Dr. Thompson received her medical degree from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. She completed her residency training in dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and two children, Madison and Chelsey. In her spare time, Dr. Thompson enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and traveling.
